Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
Design and document scalable infrastructure solutions (on-prem, cloud, hybrid)
Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools
Engineering & Implementation
Lead the deployment and configuration of servers, storage, networking, and cloud services
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Operations & Optimization
Monitor system performance and implement improvements
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Manage capacity planning and cost optimization, especially in cloud environments
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with software engineering, security, and operations teams
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exadata, Linux, Solaris
Virtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
Networking, storage, and server technologies
Infrastructure automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
