They are seeking a Wellness Spa Director who will manage the overall operation of the spa, supervise staff, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain a clean and safe environment while driving performance goals.

Responsibilities
Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences
Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues
Consistently sets a positive example and demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
Displays a client comes first attitude by holding team members accountable for quality client service
Drives company metrics by developing action plans. Directly motivates and instructs the salon team by implementing company programs
Manages with integrity and honesty and promotes the culture, values, and mission of Wellness City
Plans, Identifies, communicates, and delegates responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations
Directly responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation, and organization of the spa, sunless, and UV
Manages spa staffing levels to ensure employee development and maintain spa operational requirements
Adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for non-exempt team members and minors
Uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the spa. Tools include labor guidelines, reports, cash management and inventory management
Utilizes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in spa’ performance
Regularly conducts performance assessments, providing feedback and setting challenging goals to improve sales performance
Ability to be a leader with sales performance and to consistently meet sales goals
Manage ongoing sales
The Spa Director is required to work a 5-day work week of 40 hours per week. (minimum)
The Spa Director is required to work a varying number of mid and/or closing shifts each week as determined by their supervisors based on business trends and staffing needs
Qualification
Required
Management and/or Sales experience required
Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
Team building skills
Ability to prioritize and delegate
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
Ability to perform spa, sunless, and UV cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc
Preferred
College education is preferred but not required
Beauty, Spa, Tanning Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred
