Business Development Manager
OnScript AI is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate growth across key verticals. This role is responsible for generating new pipeline, managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through onboarding, and working cross-functionally to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to live customer.

Responsibilities
Prospect and engage new accounts through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, referrals, events)
Qualify inbound and outbound leads and manage follow-ups
Conduct discovery calls to understand customer workflows, pain points, and compliance needs
Deliver tailored product demos focused on business outcomes and ROI
Maintain accurate CRM records (pipeline stages, notes, next steps)
Collaborate with leadership and product teams on active opportunities
Advance opportunities through the pipeline toward pilot, onboarding, and live deployment
Coordinate pilot campaigns and onboarding timelines with internal teams
Review pipeline health, deal velocity, and conversion metrics
Refine messaging and positioning based on prospect feedback
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities
Participate in sales strategy and deal review meetings
Build and nurture relationships with partners, consultants, and referral sources
Meet or exceed monthly revenue and pipeline generation targets
Analyze performance metrics (win rates, cycle length, demo-to-close conversion)
Identify new verticals, ICPs, or market segments for expansion
Contribute feedback to product and leadership on feature requests and competitive insights
Help refine sales playbooks, outreach sequences, and demo frameworks
Support forecasting and revenue planning
Represent OnScript AI at industry events, conferences, or virtual forums (as applicable)
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management (B2B SaaS preferred)
Proven ability to build pipeline and close deals in a consultative sales environment
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience managing multiple deals simultaneously across sales stages
Comfortable selling to regulated or compliance-driven industries (healthcare, finance, legal, insurance a plus)
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience in AI, analytics, or contact-center technology is a plus
