Responsibilities
Manage supplier qualification, audits, and performance
Lead NCRs, RMAs, corrective and preventive actions (8D, DMAIC)
Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
Track and improve quality metrics (scrap, COPQ, first-pass yield)
Partner with Supply Chain and Engineering on supplier and material qualification
Support internal, supplier, and customer audits and regulatory compliance
Qualification
Required
3–5 years in manufacturing quality or Supplier Quality Engineering
Experience with polymer / plastic-based products and electrical/mechanical assemblies
Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and regulated industries
2+ years using analytical techniques (SEM, IR, XRF, microscopy, physical testing)
Strong root-cause analysis and corrective action experience (DMAIC, 8D)
Ability to learn and apply aviation and rail regulatory requirements
Proven continuous improvement and problem-solving skills
To conform with US export regulations and ITAR 120.15 and EAR Part 772, incumbents for this role must be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government
