Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a portfolio of litigation matters, with a primary focus on asbestos cases
Collaborate with and supervise outside counsel to develop litigation strategies, review pleadings, and monitor case progress
Conduct legal research and provide internal guidance on litigation risks and mitigation strategies
Respond to subpoenas, discovery requests, and other litigation-related inquiries
Maintain accurate and current case files, reports, and litigation databases
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and support litigation responses
Stay informed on legal developments and trends in asbestos and related litigation
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the U.S
3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in asbestos litigation
Preferred
Experience handling asbestos litigation in multiple jurisdictions (MI, PA, WV, IL)
Experience working in or with corporate legal departments is a plus
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
