New Grad, Entry LevelAllSource Construction Specialties, LLC (ACS) is a Division 10 Specialties material supplier and installer that specializes in commercial and multi-family residential construction. The Installation Technician is responsible for the safe delivery and proper installation of Division 10 Specialties materials on commercial construction projects under the direction of a Lead Installation Technician and Superintendent.
Construction
Responsibilities
Load, unload, and securely store project materials on job sites
Clearly understand detailed work orders and building plans to complete project installations
Install various Division 10 Specialties items such as bath accessories, mirrors, and wire shelving; assist in the installation of mailboxes and bike racks
Properly complete work orders and provide detailed notes on work completed and materials issues using project management app
Effectively communicate with general contractors and superintendents on job sites with direction from Lead Installation Technician and/or PM
At times will be responsible for assigning daily tasks to Assistant Installation Technicians; assist Lead Installation Technician in on-the-job training of Assistant Installation Technicians
Carry and maintain files for multiple projects
Maintain regular upkeep of company vehicles and keep track of tools
Attend monthly staff meeting and/or training sessions
Occasionally participate in pre-construction meetings
Qualification
Required
Must have tape measure, drill, impact driver, hacksaw, hammer and or mallet/s, and screwdrivers
Must hold a valid driver's license
Some travel required
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and on a team
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Must be able to safely lift at least 50 lbs
Preferred
Carpentry and/or construction experience is preferred; will train the right candidate
