Responsibilities

Leading client meetings, renewal strategies, and annual planning in collaboration with internal teams
Evaluating and recommending benefit options across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
Analyzing claims and benchmark data to identify cost drivers
Guiding clients through legislative and compliance requirements
Partnering with carriers and vendors to negotiate renewals
Mentoring team members
Contributing to business development through proposal and presentation support

Qualification

Health & Welfare complianceInsurance industry experienceClient relationship managementCEBS CertificationLife Accident & Health LicensureMicrosoft Office proficiencyCommunication skillsPresentation skillsTeam collaborationMentoring skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred
7+ years in insurance industry experience with a thorough understanding of all benefit plans (medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, etc) design, rate structures, funding alternatives and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and presentation skills with advanced writing skills
Proficient in all areas of Health & Welfare compliance (i.e. HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 5500, DOL, etc)
Life Accident & Health Licensure
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of internal staff & management, external clients, prospects and vendors

Preferred

CEBS Certification or other industry recognized designations preferred
