Inside Sales Estimator – Electrical Power Engineering

Responsibilities
Respond to customers bid requests and internal requests
Research on-line bid opportunities
Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications and addendums
Clarify electrical testing scope of work with customer estimators, project managers and engineers of record
Obtain pricing from vendors for equipment repairs, parts and other departments
Prepare computer-based estimates
Participate in bid strategy meeting as requested
Generate reports, project bid status, PO’s received
Prepare draft proposal for Outside Sales Engineer
Work closely with Outside Sales Engineer
Facilitate contract hand off to Operations and Engineering department including job assumptions
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical power
Alternatively, experience working with electrical equipment distributors
Experience with a member company of the Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL) is a strong asset
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
