Business Development Manager
Evergreen Talent Partners is a fast-growing NYC-based controls contractor seeking a Business Development Manager to lead sales in the building automation space. The role involves driving new business, managing sales cycles, and collaborating with engineering teams in the commercial construction market.
Responsibilities
Driving new business across NYC’s commercial construction and real estate markets
Targeting general contractors, MEP engineers, consultants, and building owners
Managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close
Collaborating with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure technical alignment
Representing the company at key industry events and networking opportunities
Qualification
Required
A proven sales hunter with 5+ years in BMS, HVAC controls, or smart building solutions
Strong knowledge of commercial construction and building system integrations
Well-connected in the NYC construction ecosystem
A motivated self-starter who thrives on performance-based earnings
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
