Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across key categories including smoked sausage, cooked proteins, and marinated meats
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand presence in the foodservice channels (i.e. grocery, government, retail, foodservice, etc.)
Manage and grow existing customer relationships through consistent follow-up, performance tracking, and partnership-building
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and R&D to deliver customer-specific programs and solutions
Maintain a strong understanding of category trends, pricing, and competitive landscape
Qualification
Required
Experience in food sales, ideally within meat, protein, or grocery-related categories
Established network within foodservice distributors, brokers, and operator accounts
Proven track record of sales growth and account management success
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability/willingness to travel
