Responsibilities
Provide team leadership for the design and construction of horizontal airfield projects in Florida and across the U.S
Lead project management efforts on large/complex engineering projects including budgets, resource alignment, client relations, quality, scheduling, and business development
Administer consultant/sub-consultant agreements, resolve critical issues/policy matters, and present new concepts
Oversee and/or coordinate project staff and maintenance of group utilization numbers as they relate to projects & timelines
Lead/support other projects in offices across the country
Qualification
Required
8 years total of related experience
Experience in large/regional airfield design/construction including the knowledge of airfield and FAA regulations a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Professional Engineering (PE) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Strong communications skills
AutoCAD and Civil3D experience
Skills to effectively lead and work in large and small multidisciplinary team environments
Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress
Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards
Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified
Preferred
Existing relationships with strategic clients a plus
