Responsibilities

Manage technical staff and all assigned projects to ensure accurate and on-time delivery within budget projections
Determine project scope, contract with customers, secure and assign installation and subcontractor resources
Monitor and communicate project progress, escalate issues, manage quality, and control budgets
Lead the development of all direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Conduct workforce planning and estimate staff requirements through pre-bid walkthroughs to identify any problems or needs prior to installation start
Coordinate ship dates of all project-related equipment and expedite equipment when necessary
Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports
Communicate project progress and changes to customers, company installation staff, and technical teams
Lead project meetings with installation and technical staff
Coordinate project documentation with System Engineers as required
Work cross-functionally with business development, installation teams, system designers, and subcontractors
Manage internal and external technical staff to ensure project completion within budget
Communicate with business development team for change order submittals
Provide regular status updates to executive management
Implement tools and processes to improve operational efficiency, team performance, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction

Required

A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in custom audio/visual installation
At least 1 year of experience managing a team
At least 1 year of project management experience
Strong working knowledge of the custom installation process to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making abilities
Proven ability to lead and develop technical staff
Experience managing budgets ranging from $1.5 million to $6 million annually
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
Strong collaborator and natural team player

Preferred

Associate degree (2 year technical) or Bachelor's degree in a related field
Industry certification (CEDIA, InfoComm)
Low Voltage License
Experience with vendor and third-party management
