Responsibilities
Perform biological sample or experimental animal tissue analysis, using molecular biology or histology methods
Analyze/process data, and report results to program teams
May involve method development or troubleshooting
Track or procure materials
Expect to work at bench most of time
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a similar discipline. Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate education
Have taken Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology or related courses
Some laboratory experiences are required
Pay attention to details, have good organization skills
A strong work ethic and high-level motivation are required
Preferred
Experiences with mammalian cell culture, RNA/DNA extraction, quantification, qPCR or NGS are a plus
Understanding concepts of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics is desirable
