Responsibilities
Partner with clients on consulting engagements lasting 1.5 months to a year, providing ongoing guidance and support
Help clients understand and implement CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliance requirements
Develop and review client documentation to ensure compliance standards are met
Manage multiple client relationships simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service
Keep projects moving forward and prevent stagnation by managing client engagement and momentum
Communicate complex compliance concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats (AI tools are not permitted)
Participate in quarterly CMMC assessments to maintain technical skills and stay current with industry practices
Qualification
Required
Experience implementing CMMC or NIST 800-171 compliance at an organization
Advanced knowledge of CMMC, NIST 800-171, and DFARS compliance standards
CMMC Certified Professional (CCP)
Background in IT or cybersecurity compliance consulting
Strong verbal and written communication skills (AI tools are not permitted)
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Proven time management and prioritization skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Ability to pass a T3 background check
Team player mentality, with a desire for collaboration and working towards a common goal
Preferred
Experience with networking technologies and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft GCC High, AWS GovCloud)
Military or government contracting background
CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA)
Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, and CISM are a strong plus
Expertise in cloud and on-prem systems is strongly preferred
Quality assurance or audit experience in government contracting
