Responsibilities
Talking to the people who are calling The Hilburn Agency (Allstate) and trying your best to resolve whatever issue they are having
Providing assistance to customers who need cheaper insurance or existing customers wanting to know how to handle their fender bender
Being part salesperson and part customer service representative
Learning through regular practice and asking questions to experienced agency staff
Qualification
Required
You have a valid Texas Department of Insurance General Lines Property & Casualty License (Allstate will require your license number as part of the background check before hiring)
You have previous insurance experience
You are a confident, highly motivated individual who knows how to sell. That being said, you can't be shady
You can look at a customer's Policy Dec Page and properly explain it to them
You like people, can keep a cool head (not everyone you speak to will be in a good mood) and understand the importance of cultivating relationships
You are looking for a career that can provide opportunities for financial and professional growth, and has flexibility if you need to work from home
You are teachable
You are capable of learning via online training, are a fast learner AND have the sense to ask questions when you are unsure about something
You are organized and can follow various sets of rules and procedures
You know how to be conversational

You have plugged in our address, so you know your commute
