Responsibilities

Leads and manages one or more engineering projects related to production operations
Works closely with various stakeholders to identify business requirements, streamline processes, and ensure the effective use of technology to achieve business goals
Works collaboratively with technical, manufacturing and other internal staff
Interacts with customers, vendors and suppliers

Required

Five or more years hands-on engineering experience in comparable role in med device, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline required (biomedical, chemical, materials, or mechanical preferred)
Outstanding analytical and project management skills required
Experience with Solidworks, MS Office, Teams and similar business tools required
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with others. Must be able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to staff
Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities essential
Must be able to work effectively in fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects to successfully meet deadlines
Must be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative and drive to organize and manage projects to successful outcomes
Position is on-site/in office

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline required (biomedical, chemical, materials, or mechanical preferred)
Experience with machining processes and the manufacture small, tight tolerance, metallic parts is preferred
Working knowledge of ISO 9001: 13485 preferred
