Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
Build, enhance, and optimize scalable automation frameworks for functional, regression, and smoke testing
Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to analyze requirements and define test strategies
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Bugzilla
Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality automation standards and best practices
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility and reliability
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver automation using Java
Proficiency in Java, OOP concepts, and automation design patterns
Experience working with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber (BDD)
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum, and the SDLC
Hands-on experience with tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins, and version control practices
Experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman and RestAssured
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with cross-environment test execution and troubleshooting
Preferred
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
Knowledge of database testing (SQL)
Exposure to performance testing tools is a plus
