Responsibilities
Provide suggestions / strategies to help maintain consistent and quality products
Responsible for handling quality issues and making decisions and providing guidance regarding food safety
Perform analysis of raw materials to ensure ingredients are received within specifications
Monitor ingredient storage in warehouse for proper rotation and usage of materials
Capable of performing Trace / Recall on all materials for potential recall at any time
Perform weekly audits (as scheduled) to ensure systems and policy compliance including line audits
Review and maintain all quality programs for raw materials, food safety procedures and established finished product quality levels of acceptance
Help maintain departmental budget and AOP within established guidelines by informing manager of proposed purchases
Monitor the Allergen Program including continual training, awareness, and segregation of materials to prevent cross contamination
Support continuous improvement activities as needed

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing required

Associates degree in science related field preferred
Food handling experience is preferred
