The Assistant Showroom Manager is responsible for working with buyers and internal employees as well as vendors to bring new trends to clients and assist in training staff for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Understand and be the go-to person in the department with all technology, point of sale software, and store procedures
Responsible for most inventory control functions. Understand and coordinate with store manager goals of department and seasonal reorder points for merchandise
Assist the store manager in training staff to offer the best possible level of customer service
Make each customer feel special and want to return to work with you again
Work with the store manager and display staff to provide the most visually pleasing and merchandised store
Work with store manager, and other management team members to relay information on new products and promotions to marketing personnel
Help develop merchandise concepts and strategy, and be able to assist the store manager in training other staff on these concepts
Listen to each customer, be able to relate customers desires to management
Reconcile, document, and work with accounting and outside vendors to organize all product procurement and shipping schedule
Coordinate the monthly staff schedule with all staff members and store manager
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in a professional environment
Past small retail experience and, or experience managing others will be given special consideration
A qualified candidate will be exemplary with technology, existing and new. Specifically, Microsoft office applications
A qualified candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, as well as demonstrate that they will follow the vision of superiors
Any candidate should be comfortable working at a company with a very diverse workforce, product offering, and client
A qualified candidate will be comfortable understanding and working within a small business, family environment
Any candidate should be able to work on their feet for long periods of time, and able to lift 25 pounds regularly
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
