The role involves direct contact with taxpayers to educate them on compliance requirements and to promote voluntary compliance while resolving tax delinquencies.

Responsibilities
Review and manage assigned taxpayer accounts for delinquent tax liabilities
Verify, gather, and update taxpayer information across multiple systems
Educate taxpayers on available online resources and current tax policies
Document actions, communications, and outcomes accurately in multiple systems
Contact taxpayers via phone to resolve delinquent accounts
Schedule and conduct field visits to residences, places of employment, and business locations
Promote voluntary compliance by reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation
Negotiate payment arrangements in accordance with policy
Participate in asset seizure and sale activities, including lien identification, valuation analysis, securing property, and supporting public auctions
Meet performance expectations and participate in team engagement activities
Qualification
Required
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to retain information and apply policies accurately
Creative problem-solving skills
Goal-oriented and detail-focused approach
The two most recent positions must each reflect at least one consecutive year in a fast-paced call center environment
Experience in national call centers within industries such as finance/banking, insurance, or telecommunications (non-technical support)
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Spanish language proficiency
Participation in process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives
Associate's degree or higher
