Responsibilities
Lead requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, and deployment in SAP QM modules
Configure QM processes such as quality inspection, quality notifications, results recording, sample management, certificates, and usage decisions
Integrate QM with PM to support equipment inspection plans, calibration processes, maintenance notifications, and corrective/preventive actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, WM, EHS, Manufacturing) to deliver aligned business solutions
Create and update functional specifications for RICEFW objects
Conduct system testing (SIT/UAT), training, and documentation
Troubleshoot production issues and deliver continuous process improvements
Support S/4HANA migration readiness and future-state optimization of QM/PM processes
Ensure data consistency and compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards
Qualification
Required
6+ years of SAP QM experience with at least 2 end-to-end implementations
Strong hands-on expertise in core QM areas: inspection lots, control keys, master data, MICs, sampling procedures, and QM in procurement/production
Solid working knowledge of SAP PM processes including maintenance plans, notifications, task lists, and calibration workflows
Proven understanding of integration points between QM, PM, MM, and PP
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Experience with S/4HANA desired (Fiori apps, data model changes in QM/PM)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience in regulated industries (pharma, chemicals, manufacturing, oil & gas)
Exposure to quality certificates, supplier evaluation, stability studies, and batch management
Knowledge of EHS or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus
SAP certification in QM or PM
