Responsibilities
Prepare composite components for assembly
Manufacture composite parts using layup and bladder molding processes
Perform composite repairs and inspections
Prepare molds, dies, tooling, and shop aids
Inspect and test composite components for defects
Maintain and troubleshoot composite manufacturing equipment
Accurately record production and assembly activities
Assist in the development and improvement of composite manufacturing processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, shop aids, and work instructions
Experience using hand and power tools
High attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred
5+ years of aerospace composite manufacturing experience preferred
