Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable backend services that analyze and model large enterprise identity and access datasets
Build and maintain APIs and data pipelines that power Saporo’s attack path and exposure analysis engine
Collaborate with the Backend Tech Lead to ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security
Work with the Head of Engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver features that align with product and research goals
Participate in design reviews, technical planning, and knowledge sharing within the team
Contribute to ongoing improvements in reliability, scalability, and developer experience
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of experience as a software engineer in backend development
Interest or experience in cybersecurity, identity management, or enterprise infrastructure (Active Directory, Azure AD, etc.)
Comfortable collaborating in a remote-first team: strong text-based async communication skills to work seamlessly with a global team across multiple timezones
Ability to learn on the job, adopting new technologies and understanding new systems
Preferred
Familiarity with our tech stack is a plus: Docker, Go, Cypher / Graph databases, Postgres, ElasticSearch
