Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust referral networks within the office and community to generate top-notch leads
Own the recruitment lifecycle—source, screen, interview, and guide candidates through the selection process
Evaluate resumes and conduct initial interviews with potential candidates
Maintain consistent engagement with candidates throughout the recruitment journey
Actively participate in community organizations to elevate our brand presence
Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies using referrals, events, and community outreach
Partner with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share insights and best practices
Deliver weekly recruitment activity reports to the leadership team
Maintain accurate candidate records using supported software
Assist in organizing leadership meetings and preparing activity/results reports
Analyze recruitment metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements
Work closely with the Contract and Licensing specialist to ensure a smooth onboarding process

Required

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years in sales, recruiting, or a related field; financial services industry experience is a plus
Proven ability to work professionally as part of a team and interact effectively at all levels
Experience in prospecting and generating leads via phone and face-to-face interactions
Knowledge of LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and other sourcing platforms
Strong network of personal/professional advocates or active community involvement
Strong sense of teamwork and goal orientation
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in the office and the community
Innovative and resourceful problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with various technologies and a commitment to efficiency
Competencies in process and project management, including anticipating needs
Ability to manage confidential and time-sensitive information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to gain rapport and cooperation at all levels
Ability to oversee day-to-day and long-term business strategies and initiatives
Ability to commute to Denver, CO 80222
