Test & Validation Engineer
Raytheon is seeking a motivated Test & Validation Engineer II to support the Forest Raytheon Consolidated Manufacturing Center. In this role, you will work within production operations and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to develop and evaluate test processes and equipment for Antenna and Radar Products.
Responsibilities
Assisting with Designing, controlling, and improving the manufacturing process focusing on testing through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
Improving yields
Assisting with implementing manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
Creating and overseeing improvement projects
Translating engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Performing hardware defect analysis and corrective action investigations
Participating in internal design review of Prime Hardware and test environment
Qualification
Required
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and typically a minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with data analysis
Preferred
Preferred major in electrical engineering/engineering technology
Experience/education with interpretation of technical documents
Experience with project execution
Experience in Power Supply testing
Experience in analog/power electronic component analysis and selection
Experience in simulation and modeling of analog circuits and power electronics
Demonstrated ability in use of electrical test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Function Generator, etc)
