Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location
Monitor access to the building, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry
Respond promptly to incidents and/or critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related concerns and to assist individuals as needed
Communicate professionally with building occupants and/or visitors, providing information and assistance as appropriate
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to site and Allied Universal procedures
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including alerting appropriate personnel and following evacuation or lockdown procedures
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
