Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and interpret government RFPs, RFQs, and solicitations
Lead or support proposal development, including:
Compliance mapping
Writing and editing proposal responses
Aligning solutions to evaluation criteria
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to gather required inputs
Develop compelling, compliant, and well-structured proposals tailored to public-sector requirements
Support capture strategy and win themes where appropriate
Manage proposal timelines and ensure on-time, high-quality submissions

Qualification

Government RFP experiencePublic-sector procurement knowledgeProposal development skillsEditing proposalsOutcome-focused mindsetAttention to detailIndependent work

Required

Proven experience responding to government RFPs (state, local, and/or federal)
Strong understanding of public-sector procurement processes
Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail and compliance
Ability to work independently and manage multiple proposals
Comfortable with commission-based compensation tied to successful contract awards (if not, please do not apply)
Professional, reliable, and outcome-focused mindset

Preferred

Experience with capture management or proposal strategy
Familiarity with education, healthcare, infrastructure, or professional services RFPs
Experience working with small to mid-sized consulting or services firms
