Assists the Construction Project Engineer with day-to-day leadership of WSDOT and consultant staff working as an integrated project team
Overseeing construction operations
Ensuring safety for staff, contractor crews, and the public
Coordinating environmental compliance
Managing traffic impacts
Facilitating communication with third parties and the community
Supporting design, right of way, and utility coordination efforts
Providing direction and guidance to multidisciplinary teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience in construction project management
Knowledge of construction safety practices
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Experience with environmental compliance and traffic management
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with WSDOT projects
Familiarity with design and utility coordination
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
