Program Project Coordinator -Administrative Office of the Courts

The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Administrative Office of the Courts is looking for a Program Project Coordinator to oversee local mental health programs. The role involves conducting eligibility assessments, managing case plans, and maintaining relationships with mental health agencies.

Responsibilities

Conduct eligibility assessments for defendants referred to MHC
Meet individually with participants to review case plans, assess needs, and update goals
Make referrals to behavioral health specialist for each participant to create a treatment plan
Reinforce/support case plans and treatment plans by making referrals to appropriate agencies and monitoring participant’s progress and sustainability
Establish and maintain professional relationships with community and private mental health agencies to ensure quick access to treatment serves for participants
Enter data in a management information computer application and report program data
Attend court sessions and provide the judge with informed, documented status updates
Oversight of general program operations, which includes but is not limited to, obtaining treatment verification sheets, treatment plans, reviewing treatment invoices and resolving treatment facility concerns
Seek out and attend training opportunities to ensure KY Specialty Courts is meeting national standards in MHC
Some statewide and/or overnight travel required
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Associates Degree with two years job related experience or High School Diploma with 4 years job related experience
Knowledge of mental health providers and substance use disorder treatment
Knowledgeable about the Four Pillars of Mental Health
Effective crisis management, situations awareness, and communication skills
Must be able to conduct direct observation of urine drug screening on same sex individuals as needed
Must be able to work inside a detention center as needed
