Responsibilities
Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, and meal preparation
Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living
Assist with non-medical care needs, including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery
Provide transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands
Complete medication reminders
Provide emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
Perform light household tasks
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
At least one year of caregiving experience; professional or caring for a loved one
Comfortable assisting with ADLs, mobility, and personal care
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
Compassion, patience, and dependability are a must!
Valid TB test (or willing to get one)
Must be on the California State Registry (or willing to sign up) – HCA
Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
Proficient communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
Caring and compassionate nature with professional attitude & presentation
Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
Preferred
Active HCA Registration (Home Care Aide) preferred
Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance is a plus
Multiple language speakers are highly sought
