Responsibilities
Lean process improvement throughout a project lifecycle
Operating fleet support (natural gas, biomass, etc.) and supporting upcoming development with thermal and carbon capture projects
Project administration including permitting, vegetation management, site quality inspections, and design reviews
Development of visual management tools, analytics, and reporting of processes and project management
Utilizing internal software and external programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Share Point, SCADA, etc
Qualification
Required
Actively enrolled and pursuing an ABET-accredited Engineering degree including Industrial, Environmental, or Civil
Minimum GPA requirement of 2.7 or higher
Candidates for positions with NorthStar Clean Energy must be legally authorized to permanently work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Ability to be flexible and adaptable to new assignments and projects
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attitude and aptitude to learn new skills and concepts
Ability and willingness to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks
Prior work and/or internship experience
Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
