Responsibilities
Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of structure and building performance problems
Reviewing the design of structures according to applicable codes and standards
Conducting computer analysis of structural systems
Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys
Preparing technical reports and presentations
Continued professional development towards establishing professional expertise
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related engineering field is strongly preferred, but a M.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field, plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience will also be considered
P.E. or S.E. License in at least one state is required
Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required
Creative problem-solving ability
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams
Strong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
