Responsibilities
Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, with the opportunity to manage 15-20 sets of books over time
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements
Explain financial results clearly, identifying trends, variances, and areas of concern
Perform month-end close activities and general ledger maintenance
Work closely with internal team members and clients to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Assist with payroll processing, 1099 preparation, and sales tax filings (experience is a plus)
Ensure compliance with firm standards, best practices, and accounting procedures
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably within: Accounting firms, CPA firms, Business Management firms
Strong QuickBooks experience (required)
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals
Ability to confidently explain Balance Sheets and P&L statements
Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
