Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers and designers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight
Direct the design and delivery of electrical systems—including power distribution, lighting, life safety, and low-voltage systems—across a range of facility types
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into broader facility engineering solutions
Manage project execution, including schedules, budgets, resources, and quality control
Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients, offering expertise and resolving technical challenges
Advance best practices and continuous improvement in electrical design approaches and tools
Contribute to business development through proposal support, client presentations, and strategic input
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering for building or facility projects, including several years in a leadership or supervisory role
Proficiency with common electrical design and modeling tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD)
Strong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and related standards
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
Experience with power system analysis and coordination software
Preferred
Familiarity with sustainability, energy, or value-focused design principles; relevant certifications are a plus
Engagement with professional engineering organizations or technical communities
