Required

Proven experience designing and producing eBooks from print file
Strong understanding of ePub standards, fixed layout vs. reflowable formats, and digital typography
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and eBook export workflows
Experience preparing and optimizing illustrations and images for digital use
Familiarity with Kindle Previewer, Apple Books, and other eBook validation tools
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Strong visual design sensibility
Ability to balance creative intent with technical constraints
Organized, efficient, and deadline-driven
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple titles
Clear communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teams
Positive, efficient roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field and experience
Experience in digital or print publishing—whether its magazines, books, or related layout work is essential
Strong layout sensibility and the ability to deliver visually appealing eBook experiences

Preferred

Experience with children's books, cookbooks, photography books, or other highly illustrated titles preferred
Experience in digital or print publishing, particularly if they have worked for notable publishers such as Random House, Sterling, or Hatchett
Candidates with 5-10 years of digital publishing experience and a proven track record in creating eBooks will be considered highly experienced candidates and will have an advantage
