Responsibilities

With a commitment to patient and family centered care, the RN Administrative Supervisor serves as the hospital operational oversight leader across all shifts in ways that value the uniqueness of each individual and addresses the physiological, emotional, and social needs of the diversity of patients served by Jefferson Health
The RN Administrative Supervisor is responsible for facilitating patient movement, staffing, emergency management (both medical and facilities), clinical coordination and collaboration across all departments
The Administrative Supervisor plans for, leads, and coordinates the provision of quality care and service from a hospital wide perspective
In the off shifts, the Administrative Supervisor also functions as the liaison for departments that do not have onsite leadership during non-business hours
In collaboration with administrative directors and managers, the Administrative Supervisor provides leadership, consultation and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment

Qualification

BSN DegreeRegistered Nurse LicensureBLS CertificationNursing ExperienceManagement ExperienceCritical Care ExperienceLeadership Skills

Required

BSN Degree required
State Issued Registered Nurse Licensure required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification required
Five years of nursing experience required, to include two years of current experience in management in a hospital setting
Ability to provide effective leadership for the hospital

Preferred

MSN preferred
Critical Care or Emergency RN Experience strongly preferred
