Customer Service/Inside Sales

Continental Western Corporation is looking for a customer-oriented service representative. The role involves acting as a liaison, providing product/services information, and resolving customer issues while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage high volume incoming calls and mail
Strong focus on purchasing assistance including import paperwork which includes PI review, IGTF (import goods tracking form), ISF filing, import container tracking (foreign shipment schedule) and PO receiving packets for the warehouse on inbound containers
AR
General CSR duties to include phone answering, quoting, order entry/confirmation (including special and direct shipment POs), payment processing (cash/check/CC), sales assistance as needed and filing
Orders office supplies and places Costco orders for snacks/supplies
Assists with managing/reconciling the cash box/deposits
Processes branch monthly bills for payment including power, water, garbage, housekeeping, etc
Cross trained on PO receipts and billing
Generate sales leads
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Take the extra mile to engage customers

Required

Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
Track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High school degree
