Responsibilities
Communicates with faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners to understand their data needs and determines how best to support their programs
Understands the available resources that can be applied to this project and works with stakeholders to provide an accurate and insightful solution
Assembles and executes SQL code from the NSCC code repository to gather necessary data
Develops and supports data visualizations, including Power BI dashboards
Writes complete and understandable documentation of the process and product
Presents information in a professional manner to the college community
Qualification
Required
A declared major at the associate's degree level in data science, computer information technology, or a related field with at least thirty (30) completed credit hours
Understanding of relational databases and experience writing queries in SQL, Python, or R
Six (6) months experience in college activities like tutoring, work study, or course support activities
Preferred
Experience in data manipulation and visualization, utilizing Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
