Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for a portfolio of complex, mixed-use assets
Ownership Exposure: Work directly with the ownership team and Asset Managers to provide insights into property performance and cash flow
CAM & Recoveries: Lead the annual reconciliation process for complex tenant structures within innovation hubs and creative spaces
Financial Storytelling: Prepare comprehensive financial statement packages that explain the "why" behind the numbers to sophisticated investors
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with Property Managers to build and monitor annual budgets and provide detailed variance analysis
Qualification
Required
4+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience (Mixed-use or development experience is highly preferred)
Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, or Nexus is required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA (or being on the CPA track) is a significant advantage
You are someone who wants to understand the architecture and the project's intent, not just the data entry
