Intern - HR Systems Analyst
Publix Pharmacy is committed to developing its associates through its Summer Internship Program. The intern will rotate through HR departments to analyze current HR technology and support efforts to optimize efficiency and associate experience.

Responsibilities
Rotate through all the Human Resource (HR) departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of Publix’s HR’s systems and processes
Focus on analyzing the current human resources technology landscape, identifying strengths and gaps, and exploring the feasibility and potential benefits of implementing a unified 'total HR' system
Support HR’s goal of optimizing efficiency, data integration, and associate experience across all HR functions
Qualification
Required
must be an actively enrolled student not graduating prior to the start of the Summer Internship Program in May; or
if graduating from a bachelor's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester; or
if graduating from a master's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester)
must be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in data analytics, business analytics, computer science, information systems or related field and be a current junior or above (rising senior or above as of the program start in Summer 2026) or a graduate student
basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access
basic knowledge of relational database design and management, including translating business requirements into database solutions
ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data from multiple sources
ability to work effectively without close supervision or guidance
ability to analyze processes
Preferred
advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access
advanced knowledge in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other BI Tools
data analysis skills including the ability to inspect, transform, and model data from various sources to discover information trends
advanced skills in Structured Query Language (SQL)
