Responsibilities
Deliver value-added analysis highlighting key variances, risks, and trends. Transform raw data into actionable insights for company performance
Lead the reporting of financial and business performance against key KPIs, providing deep-dive explanations for actual vs. budget/forecast variances
Develop and maintain complex financial models encompassing all three financial statements. Perform benchmarking and period-over-period trend analysis
Own end-to-end analysis for Quarterly Earnings Call requirements, including CapEx, Working Capital, Free Cash Flow, and ROIC
Support the Annual Budget process and prepare comprehensive reporting materials for month-end and quarter-end close reviews
Develop and implement sophisticated Excel models and leverage BI/Planning tools to automate data analysis and drive continuous improvement
Support acquisition integration, evaluate market opportunities, and perform 'should-cost' or 'make-vs-buy' analysis to prioritize product development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
3–5 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and sophisticated modeling
High aptitude in Excel Decision Modeling and proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP systems)
Deep understanding of the inter-relationships between the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
Proven ability to 'translate' complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders and executives
A self-starter capable of managing complex projects and implementing new planning processes in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Preferred
MBA
CPA
Experience with Business Intelligence platforms like Power BI or Tableau
Prior experience in the Biotechnology or life sciences sector
