Qualification
Required
The Intern I is a non-benefited, entry-level position for high school students, recent high school graduates, and current college students, preferably with a minimum of six months of paid or unpaid work experience
A strong willingness to learn and an interest in pursuing a career in Information Technology
Experience using Microsoft 365 products
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and the public
A foundational understanding of computer and desktop support principles and practices
Strong communication skills, including the ability to follow instructions and interact professionally with users
The ability to perform installation work involving exertion of a moderate amount of physical effort to stoop, crouch and lift in the performance of duties
Ability to perform duties in a safe manner
Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
Candidates must pass a background check and a pre-employment medical examination
Preferred
Experience supporting IT functions within a public sector environment
Certifications in Microsoft Teams Administration, Endpoint Management, Azure ID, CompTIA in network, technology, or security are highly desirable, but not required
