Responsibilities
Perform and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP
Assist in preparing financial statements, internal reports, and variance analyses
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial data and insights
Monitor expenses, accruals, prepaid accounts, and fixed asset schedules
Participate in annual audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
Identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and Leadership teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
MUST HAVE 3–5+ years of corporate accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and desire to work collaboratively
Preferred
CPA is *not* required, but is considered a plus
Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or inventory-heavy businesses
Exposure to ERP systems such as QuickBooks
Prior involvement in financial modeling or reporting improvements
