Finance Intern
Pratt Industries is seeking a motivated intern to join their Finance team this summer. The primary focus of this role will be to work with various Finance sub-teams on real-time business activities and lead a high-impact project at the intersection of finance and accounting.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly budgets; track departmental expenditures and analyze variances between actual and forecasted spend
Support the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow) and help compile data for executive-level reporting packages
Perform routine data entry and maintenance in accounting systems, ensuring accuracy in ledger entries and financial record-keeping
Conduct bank and account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the company’s general ledger and support month-end closing procedures
Qualification
Required
Current student pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to master new software and financial tools quickly
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and with teams
