Scientist II – Technology Access Program

They are seeking a highly motivated Scientist II to design, execute, and analyze experimental studies in support of client-sponsored research projects, focusing on multiplex immunoassay technologies and proteomic datasets.

Responsibilities

Execute and coordinate multiplex immunoassay projects from study design, assay set-up, and sequencing to data analysis within pre-determined timelines and with minimal supervision
Analyze, interpret and troubleshoot experimental data and implement mitigation strategies to optimize workflows and ensure high caliber of data
Serve as a technical and operations lead on assigned client projects to schedule projects, manage day-to-day laboratory operations and develop standardized protocols
Mentor junior members to provide technical guidance and work closely with the TAP Manager to maintain project timelines and high level of accuracy in data generation and reporting
Compile and present multiplex proteomic data to internal and external stakeholders in written and oral formats
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate new assays into the TAP pipeline and lead method development, validation and continuous process improvement to enable efficient scaling

Required

Masters or PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline with a minimum of 3-4 years of immunoassay experience
Strong hands-on experience with advanced immunoassay technologies and sequencing workflows
Demonstrated ability to independently execute and troubleshoot experiments
Proficient with analyses and interpretation of large multiplex proteomic datasets
Client-focused mindset and proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment; prior experience in a CRO environment highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Ability to disseminate and summarize scientific literature to a broad interdisciplinary audience
Experience with mentoring research associates and working in a highly collaborative setting with high scientific rigor and attention to detail
