Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of the monthly financial statement close process and the financial reports
Lead the development of the various financial reports for the Board of Directors, operators, investors, and other stakeholders
Partner closely with Accounting to ensure the accuracy of the financials on a regular basis
Assist with honing financial operations infrastructure to support the organization’s rapid growth, with a focus on monthly/quarterly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Partner with operational leaders, business development, and senior leadership to support the evaluation of M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
Establish financial discipline across acquired practices by standardizing reporting, integrating financial controls, and supporting physician engagement and accountability
Execute on other ad-hoc projects at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations as applicable
Qualification
Required
Must have 8-10 years in progressively responsible roles in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, and/or corporate finance
Must have expert-level Excel/financial modeling skills
Must have demonstrated ability to lead and hone the monthly financial statement close process
Must have exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Must have Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Accounting or other similar areas
This is a remote position, however ~quarterly travel to Nashville is required
Preferred
Significant plus: CPA or experience demonstrating strong accounting background
Significant plus: a deep understanding of the financial complexities and best practices associated with physician practice management
Significant plus: track record of succeeding in high-growth environments, ideally in PE-backed multi-site healthcare delivery businesses that have seen growth through acquisition; appetite for a high growth and entrepreneurial environment
MBA or other advanced degree preferred
