Responsibilities
Assist with completing monthly and quarterly deliverables in support of Valuation. Complete financial statement closing deadlines accurately and timely
Performing monthly reserve rollforward runs in Axis and present results in Excel workbooks for the Deterministic Reserve (a component of Principle-Based Reserving under VM-20)
Evaluating the implementation of new Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) deals and trueups in Axis
Performing attributions runs for Cash Flow Testing in Axis, summarizing and analyzing results
Maintain documentation of valuation procedures and perform trend analysis
Provide support for reinsurance solutions including captive insurance companies and surplus relief, in addition to traditional forms of reinsurance
Promote company culture by demonstrating our core behavioral competencies: Collaborative, Purposeful, and Straightforward
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in Math/Statistics/Accounting or related field
One SOA exam passed
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Team player on cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong documentation skills / attention to detail
Preferred
Programming capability in SQL or Python a plus
