Responsibilities

Order & Freight Management
Coordinate Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) from entry through delivery
Collaborate with sales to ensure timely pickup and delivery of orders
Obtain cost-effective transportation solutions and track shipments from pre-shipment to final delivery
Customer Service Excellence
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the order process
Address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Sales Team Support
Keep the sales team informed of PO/SO status and shipment updates
Assist with customer communications and relationship management
Claims & Issue Resolution
Handle freight-related claims promptly and professionally
Investigate discrepancies and work toward timely resolutions
Interdepartmental Coordination
Liaise with operations, sales, accounting, quality control, and management to ensure cohesive workflows
Facilitate clear and consistent internal and external communication
Back Office & Operations Support
Support quality control documentation and processes
Assist with accounts receivable and other administrative tasks as needed

Required

Prior experience in customer service, logistics, order management, or a similar role is advantageous
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and managing complex spreadsheets
Familiarity with order management systems or related software
Previous experience with an ERP system is highly desirable
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to craft clear, professional emails
Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams, customers, and freight partners
Ability to assess complex situations, analyze information, and implement effective solutions
Comfort working with data related to orders, freight, and operations
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Demonstrated ability to handle inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Meticulous attention to accuracy and detail
Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a willingness to support across departments
Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
