Head of Financial Planning/Investments - Program Manager
Firefighters First Federal Credit Union has proudly been serving the firefighter community since 1935. They are seeking a Head of Financial Planning/Investments to lead investment services, oversee project planning and execution, drive revenue growth, and manage strategic partnerships and client relationships.
Responsibilities
Establishing, leading and executing the Wealth Management strategy by engaging members, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering holistic financial plans aligned with members’ best interests
Promoting the Credit Union’s services and expanding our member base by providing comprehensive financial plans, individually tailored investment advice, and portfolio management aligned with each members’ goals
Serving as the primary liaison between the Credit Union and the broker-dealer, ensuring effective communication and execution of contractual obligations
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the investment program, including advisor support, vendor relationships, reporting & data analytics, and program performance monitoring
Creating, evaluating, and updating policies and procedures to ensure the investment programs are current with all laws and regulations
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within investment services for the ultimate member experience
Ensuring all projects and sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices while staying updated on changes and adjusting plans accordingly
Developing, leading and mentoring a high-performing national sales team by providing support to achieve individual and team objectives and regularly meeting with each team member to ensure alignment around FFCU’s mission, vision, and values
Providing team members with training, tools, and resources to successfully perform their jobs
Holding teams accountable for meeting all service level agreements, ensuring the team’s work is accurate/efficient, and providing coaching, feedback, or training as needed
Providing and ensuring development opportunities are available for team members as part of their overall career path with the Credit Union
Leading change by identifying opportunities that consistently raise the bar and improve service levels
Assisting the Credit Union with executing the business plan of the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 licenses also required
At least one of these certifications CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
Minimum 10 years' experience selling investment and insurance products
Experience managing employees
All candidates must be bondable and maintain bondable status throughout employment in accordance with credit union regulatory requirements
