In this role, you will manage client relationships, lead tax engagements, and support ASC 740 tax provision work including preparation and review while mentoring junior staff and participating in business development.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage tax engagements from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, execution, and client communications
Review tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provisions prepared by staff for accuracy and compliance
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate senior associates, associates, and interns
Perform research and provide consultative tax guidance to clients on corporate income tax matters, including federal, state, and international issues
Respond to inquiries from tax authorities (IRS, state, and local)
Identify opportunities to provide additional value to clients and support cross-selling of firm services
Maintain strong working relationships with clients and collaborate with their internal teams
Participate in business development efforts and client presentations as needed
Ensure projects adhere to professional standards, including US GAAP and tax law
Leverage ONESOURCE and other tax software platforms for provision and compliance work
Attend ongoing training and professional development sessions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Active CPA or JD license
4–7 years of progressive experience in corporate income tax, including provisions (ASC 740)
Must be willing to work onsite 2 days per week (hybrid schedule)
Strong technical knowledge in U.S. corporate income tax and tax accounting under ASC 740
Preferred
Master's in Taxation (MST) or LLM in Taxation
Experience in public accounting or a professional services firm
Proficiency in ONESOURCE Tax Provision software
Experience in client-facing roles and business development
Knowledge of state/local income taxes, international tax issues, and transfer pricing
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
